Description

Assorted earring pairs, Wild Horse (Magnesite). Varied mix of chocolate with white plumes, all sets are unique. 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide by approximately 1.25 inches. Mohs hardness ~4.

Wild Horse was discovered in southern Arizona in the 90’s and is made from two mineral components: magnesite and hematite.  Color is mainly chocolate and white, often with red, black, and yellow inclusions.  Harder than howlite, it takes a nice polish.
