Description

Silver Scrap – Dirty.  “Dirty” metal means heating or soldering has taken place.  Cutting remnants are acceptable with minimal amounts of dirt, oil, and filings, however, SFJS reserves the right to reject material it considers unacceptable or unidentifiable.  Sprues and tree trimmings are acceptable in most cases – please cut or trim these before bringing them to us for processing.

Note: If you are new to casting, please educate yourself.  In general, some amount of new, clean metal needs to be added to used metal before melting to reduce casting defects.
