Cultured/compressed turquoise is a “man made” product from turquoise by-products. It cuts and polishes similar to stabilized turquoise, and is a consistent blue color all the way through. It’s a great starter material for new lapidary artists, and experienced jewelers find that it works well for inlay and intarsia.
