Faceted Round Natural Rubies

Second in hardness only to the diamond, the ruby is one of two types of corundum, the other being the sapphire. For centuries, rubies have been found primarily in Burma, Sri Lanka, and Thailand where they play prominent roles in Eastern lore. Today, the ruby is believed to enhance ideals, self-esteem, and decision-making.

Ruby is the birthstone for July.
