JAMS Recycling Event

Every year SFJS sponsors the Jewelers’ Annual Meet and Swap in the SFJS parking lot. Jewelers come together to swap materials, equipment, and stories! What better way to clean up your work space and put a few dollars in your pocket! If you don’t have anything to sell, just drop by and find that treasure with your name on it.

Sign up to sell at this FREE event hosted by SFJS on Saturday, May 19th, 2018, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

JAMS Guidelines and Release

  • Thank you for signing up for our fifth annual JAMS event to be held Saturday, May 19th, 2018, from 9am to 2pm. As an SFJS customer you are being given priority for vendor space over non-SFJS customers. There is no fee to participate, however, there are some guidelines we require that you follow: Maximum table size allowable is 6’ x 30” and each spot will be limited to a 6’ x 6’ area. You will need to furnish your own chairs. SFJS is sponsoring tables for the first 10 people that sign up. Tables may be shared but each person must sign these guidelines. Set up time is 8:00am (and no earlier than 7:30am). If you are late, people from the wait list may be given your spot. Clean up of your space must be done by 3pm. You are responsible to dispose of any trash you have created. You may use our dumpster on the north side of our building. No finished jewelry may be sold. This swap meet is being held for jewelers by jewelers with the intent of swapping surplus tools, findings, stones or miscellaneous jewelry-making supplies. SFJS will provide an extension cord outside to test equipment. If you need a scale please bring one. SFJS will not be able to “loan” scales for the sale. Please bring your own change fund. SFJS will not be able to make change for your customers. Table spots cannot be reserved. SFJS will outline spots and they will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Umbrellas are OK but tents are not. Once you have unloaded your merchandise your vehicle must be parked out of the cul-de-sac to make room for shoppers. Each participant (and their helpers) is required to sign a Release of Liability form prior to the event. No drugs, no alcohol, no guns and NO KIDDING! SFJS reserves the right to reject participation or eject a vendor from the event for any reason, without explanation.
